How to install & use

Choose your app to get started. Follow the guide for the format included with your purchase.

First, download your files from My Collection or the download link supplied with your order. Check the product page for supported apps and versions.

Procreate brushes

iPad · .brushset / .brush

  1. Open Files on your iPad and find your downloaded folder. If the download is a ZIP, tap it to extract the files inside.
  2. Tap the .brushset or .brush file to import it into Procreate. Confirm the import if prompted.
  3. Open a canvas in Procreate, then open your Brush Library.
  4. Find your new set near the top of the current library. Individual brushes appear in a set named Imported. Select a brush and start drawing.
File not opening in Procreate?

In Procreate 5.4 or later, open the menu at the top right of the Brush Library and choose Import from Files. Select the brush file in Files.

In Procreate 5.3, tap + in the Brush Library, then choose Import in Brush Studio.

Keep the brush file intact. Extract the outer ZIP only. A .brushset or .brush file is ready to import; do not unzip it or change its extension.

Illustrator brushes

Desktop · .ai brush library

  1. Extract the downloaded ZIP, if supplied, and find the .ai brush library included with your product.
  2. In Illustrator, open a document and choose Window → Brushes.
  3. Choose Window → Brush Libraries → Other Library. Select the supplied .ai library to open it in its own panel.
  4. Drag the brushes you want from the library panel into your document’s Brushes panel. Select a path and click a brush to apply it, or draw with the Paintbrush tool.
Keep the library ready for next time

Open the brush library panel menu and choose Persistent to have that library reopen automatically with your document.

Use the supplied brush library. An .ai artwork file is not necessarily a brush library. These instructions cover Illustrator on desktop.

Affinity brushes

Designer 2 / Photo 2 · Desktop and iPad · .afbrushes

  1. Extract the downloaded ZIP, if supplied, and find the .afbrushes file.
  2. Open the compatible Affinity app and its Brushes panel. In Designer 2, choose Designer Persona for vector brushes or Pixel Persona for raster brushes.

The .afbrushes extension can contain either type. Check the product’s included files to choose the right one.

These steps cover Affinity V2. Check the product page for your supported Affinity app and brush type. The newer Affinity app may use different panel names.
