VoidScreen makes digital brushes, textures and other art tools. This policy explains how personal information is used when you browse our store, buy or download a product, use My Collection, subscribe to emails or contact support.

VoidScreen is operated by Valerii Vidinov, an individual. For the activities described here, Valerii Vidinov is responsible for deciding how VoidScreen uses your information (the data controller, where that term applies). Contact location: Bali, Indonesia. Email: support@voidscreen.co.

Information we collect

Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. What we process depends on how you use VoidScreen:

• Contact and account details: your name, email address, Shopify customer identifier, account preferences and billing details supplied at checkout. Shopify manages the customer sign-in process.
• Orders and payments: products and supported applications selected, license options, order and transaction references, amounts, currency, payment status, refunds and purchase history. Payment providers process the payment credentials you submit; our My Collection delivery database does not store full card numbers or security codes.
• Digital access: the products and application packages available to you, purchase or claim references, access permissions, reward eligibility and claims, and related dates and processing records.
• Support and subscriptions: messages, attachments and order context you send us, along with your email subscription choices and consent records.
• Device and activity information: IP address, browser and device details, cookie or session identifiers, pages and products viewed, cart activity and requests made to access downloads.

We receive information from you, automatically through the store and delivery services, and from Shopify and the providers involved in your transaction. If you ask us to help with an earlier purchase, we may use the purchase information you provide to verify access.

Why we use it

We use this information to process orders, provide your digital purchases, maintain My Collection, administer rewards, restore access, answer questions and review refund requests. It also helps us remember preferences, understand how the store is used, improve products, prevent fraud and unauthorized access, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performance of our contract with you for orders and access; legal obligations for required records and lawful requests; and legitimate interests for support, service improvement, security and protecting our rights, subject to your rights and interests. We rely on consent where required for marketing or non-essential tracking. Providing information needed for a purchase or account is necessary to supply that service; marketing subscriptions are optional.

My Collection and digital downloads

We use bunny.net infrastructure and a delivery database to provide protected downloads and My Collection. Access records connect your Shopify customer identifier with your products, application packages, relevant orders and rewards. We use them to verify entitlement, make downloads available, prevent duplicate claims and help recover access.

Download requests also involve technical information, such as an IP address and request details, needed to deliver files and protect the service. Browser session storage can keep temporary access information while you complete a download or add an eligible purchase to My Collection. Purchase and access records are personal information even when they contain identifiers rather than your name.

Shopify and other service providers

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information about your use of the store to provide and improve its services. Information submitted through the store is shared with Shopify and the providers needed to operate it, which may process it in other countries.

We use Shopify Network Intelligence and Enhanced Services. Shopify may combine information from your interactions with VoidScreen, other merchants and Shopify to improve services, personalize experiences and support advertising. For this processing, Shopify acts as a data controller and is responsible for responding to requests concerning its own use of your information. Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and use the Shopify privacy portal to exercise available rights, including opting out of Shopify's use of information for advertising based on activity across merchants.

We also use bunny.net for digital delivery and hosting, and Google Workspace for our support mailbox. These services process the information needed for their respective functions. Payment providers process information needed to complete and verify payments, prevent fraud and handle disputes. For a purchase made through Western Bid, Western Bid, Inc. acts as merchant of record and processes transaction information under its Privacy Policy. The provider involved depends on the payment route offered for your purchase.

We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers, authorities or other parties when needed to comply with law, handle a dispute or protect legal rights. Information may also be transferred as part of an actual business sale or reorganization, subject to applicable protections. Other websites linked from VoidScreen have their own privacy practices.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Shopify and our services use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as sign-in, cart contents, security, preferences and digital access. Shopify also uses information for analytics, personalization and advertising through the services described above, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

Where a cookie banner or privacy choices control is available, use it to manage non-essential processing. Browser settings can also block or clear cookies and site storage, although this can interrupt sign-in, checkout or downloads. For Shopify's own processing, use its privacy portal. You can also email us with a request to opt out of processing that qualifies as a sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising under applicable law.

Emails from VoidScreen

We send service messages needed for purchases, account access and support. If you subscribe, we may also send marketing emails about products, releases and free tools. A past purchase alone is not permission to add you to our marketing list.

You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in those emails or by contacting us. This does not stop messages needed to service your order or account. Joining a mailing list is not required to contact support or access a purchase.

How long we keep information

We keep order and access records for as long as needed to provide the access associated with your purchase, administer refunds, resolve disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Support records are retained according to the issue being handled and any continuing need to document its resolution. Subscription records help us respect your consent and unsubscribe choices. Technical logs and backups are retained according to operational, security and recovery needs and provider settings.

A deletion request may affect future access through My Collection. We will explain any relevant consequences and any information that must be retained when responding. Deleting a Shopify account does not necessarily remove related records from every delivery or support system automatically.

Security and international processing

We use access controls and protected download links to help safeguard information and digital access. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or full payment details to support.

Information may be stored or processed outside your country. Our Shopify data hosting location is the United States, and VoidScreen is operated from Indonesia. Shopify and our other service providers use international infrastructure, so their processing may involve additional countries with different data protection laws.

International transfers are subject to the safeguards required by applicable law. Depending on the provider and transfer, these may include adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards. Shopify explains its transfer arrangements in its privacy information. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Some rights have exceptions, including where records must be kept by law.

Send requests to support@voidscreen.co. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request relates to you. An authorized representative may submit a request where permitted; we may need to verify their authority. We consider requests across the systems used for your order, digital access and support, and respond within applicable legal deadlines. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

If you disagree with our response, contact us to request a review. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority or appeal a decision under applicable law. Requests about Shopify's independent processing can be submitted through its privacy portal.

Children

The store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information can contact us to request its removal. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of people under 16 for targeted advertising.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
